The use cases are wide and varied, ranging from capturing sensitive data related to healthcare research through to customer journey mapping.Ī video diary can be used to capture respondents daily life routines and activities. Market Research and UX Research use cases for Video Diary Studies To understand respondents “day in the life” behaviours researchers can assign a new task every day or they can allocate similar or repetitive tasks daily. It thus makes it easy for the respondents to know what task they have to complete every day. This tasking helps the respondents to see only the particular task for the day and the previous day's task will disappear once the next day's task appears. Using the start date and end date feature you can schedule a task to start on a day and set an end on the next day. With the scheduled tasking option, you can schedule a new or similar task daily. Scheduled tasking is a good option to use for a video diary study. The Indeemo app has three different tasking features: The video diary works based on respondents completing tasks over several days. ![]() Respondents then download the Indeemo Video Diary App which they will use to capture their videos. Firstly, researchers recruit research respondents for the study in the same manner they would with any study (Focus Group / User Interview), incentivising accordingly and ensuring the respondents are representative of those they are seeking to research.

Sadly, that's not the case just yet. Meanwhile, a different detachment from Alexandria seeking aid finally reaches a community of survivors. Though this conflict involves more undead and gunfights then your friends’ bickering, we’d wager. Your loyalty to Maggie as a viewer and the recent humanizing of Negan does make it hard to root for one over the other – it's sort of like when your friends are arguing, and you don’t want to pick sides because they're both making good points. Her return brings that tension with Negan back, and it looks to be the real internal conflict going forward with our group, to the point where they each almost kill the other in this episode. Funnily enough, she’s kept a grudge against him. While Negan began his ‘redemption’ arc, Maggie had left the group to raise her son after he killed Maggie’s husband Glenn and their friends in a bloody spectacle. Things haven't changed, of course, for Maggie. ![]() Though clearly unwelcome, Negan being trusted to lead the people he once terrorized says a lot about how things have changed. Thanking the cast and creators for a fantastic run of Horror-Drama laden television, Cryptic Rock gives Season 11 of The Walking Dead 3.5 out of 5 stars, and the entire 11 seasons altogether, 4.5 out of 5 stars thanks to the abundance of strong seasons early on.The once-villainous Negan has turned into a closely-watched ally, as he guides the Alexandrians through an underground railway to the Warden’s ransacked settlement for supplies. Nonetheless, the original The Walking Dead series is no more, and for what it is worth, through the ups and downs, it is one of the strongest television series ever to be produced for cable television. In fact, some finales were so good some viewers might have felt satisfied with it all ending right there and then. Looking back, there have actually been season finale episodes in years past stronger than Rest in Peace. And it would have been a fine season had there been a new season coming, but as it stands, some are feeling a bit short changed. The theme is compelling enough, the tension is plausible, and for the most part, the story lines are not too absurd. In all, as a whole, the eleventh season of The Walking Dead was perhaps the most entertaining and evenly paced since Rick’s departure back in the ninth season. However, for others, they might be cutting their ties and thanking The Walking Dead for the memories.īTS – The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 24 – Photo Credit: Curtis Bonds Baker/AMC A lot to digest, for some it is exciting that they will be able to continue along a journey with these characters. ![]() Of course, there is Fear the Walking Dead which has run since 2015 and The Walking Dead: World Beyond running since 2020… but what is next? While all the details are still unclear, there will reportedly be a Daryl (Norman Reedus) spin-off Walking Dead series set in Europe, while Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will have their spin-off series called Dead City, and finally, Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Rick (Andrew Lincoln) will at last get a spin-off series as well. However, as unresolved as The Walking Dead’s finale might feel, you cannot help but ponder the idea that AMC and the series creators planned it this way. A conclusion not much different than prior triumphs of our chosen hero’s past, this time around there is no tomorrow. Briefly recapping everything that transpired in season 11, the drama of the Commonwealth and the city’s political corruption is at last snuffed out thanks to the mainstay Walking Dead characters uniting together one last time. Why? Well, it has been twelve years and many dedicated viewers justifiably wanted more resolve than Rest in Peace might have had to offer. Drawing in 2.27 million views in the episodes premiere, for some, the series finale is a very uneven and unfulfilled ending. Wrapping up after initially launching the final season back in August 2021, the final episode ever of The Walking Dead is fittingly entitled Rest in Peace. ![]() Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon)/Melissa McBride (Carol Peletie) The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 24 Photo Credit: Jace Downs ![]() I’ve seen Stir of Echoes on VHS, DVD, Digital and now Blu-ray, and as one would naturally expect Imprint’s 1080p rendering offers optimal viewing for home cinema audiences. We’re encouraged to ponder these ideas than seek a definitive answer. While its concept is nothing new, I think Matherson’s dive into the notion of what our eye can see, isn’t necessarily everything that’s there, is explored with an open mind. His son, Jake, of course, knows exactly what’s going on, because of kids and ghosts, while Maggie is left trying to make sense of Tom’s deteriorating state. Tom is quietly going through a midlife crisis, feeling like he hasn’t lived up to his potential, and by having it collide with his supernatural encounter, he’s energised by his new experience, even though it’s becoming detrimental to his family. ![]() While you can easily label the film as generic, I think it’s done considerably well, standing out with clever visual sequences and bolstered by strong performances from Kevin Bacon as our protagonist and Kathryn Erbe as his stoic wife, Maggie. Since its release in theatres, I’ve seen Stir of Echoes on each physical format, plus digitally, but Imprint’s premium Blu-ray provided my most enjoyable viewing. Unknowingly at first, Tom’ sensory perception begins to change with visits from a ghostly apparition. Imprint Films have since released the ‘almost supernatural classic’ via a stacked limited edition on Blu-ray.īased on Richard Matheson’s 1958 novel, this seamlessly adapted story takes place in modern-day Chicago and begins following an intense impromptu session of hypnosis conducted by Tom’s (Kevin Bacon) spiritual sister-in-law, Lisa (Illeana Douglas). I remember walking away from Stir of Echoes a little underwhelmed by the ending, which is generally a given with most mainstream horror movies, but enjoyed the initial mystery, the urban setting and traditional ghost story element. It was a weekend dominated by constant sniffing, playing Speed Freaks on PS1 and getting down on Kevin Bacon’s manic vice as a working-class husband and father with an unwanted link to what lies beyond the veil of death. I was coming down with the flu, surrounded by patrons and not a soul cared. With the more popular Sixth Sense still on the minds of horror fans, myself included, a friend and I ventured to our local cinema for a night session. We in Australia didn’t get to see Stir of Echoes until the fourth month into the new millennium whereas US audiences were enjoying it the previous year in September, which in retrospect feels like a jarring wait compared to today’s release cycle. ![]() And while that means they’re a little pricier than the average sticky note pack (200 Post-it sheets sell for the same price on Amazon), I think it’s well worth it, since the notes are so reliably clingy that you never have to rewrite the same note twice. The standard size retails for 3.99 for a pack of 100 sheets. They’re also easy to toss in my bag if I want to take them on holiday or to the office - and are just as useful for work tasks as they are for writing and life admin. I’ve never once found one loose at the bottom of my bag, rendered useless by lint. They’re exactly what my scattered brain needed to build a dependable, easily accessed to-do list, and my creative brain loves shuffling them around when writing. While I haven’t branched out into using different colours or sizes yet, I really appreciate that because the notes are clingy all over instead of just having one weak strip of adhesive along one side, I can arrange them horizontally and vertically, which helps me differentiate between tasks. I’ve been using these notes daily for a little over six weeks now, and I’m hooked. In other words, how could any self-loving stationery lover resist? ![]() The notes come in a range of 13 colours (I’m partial to the pastel purple), and three different sizes, and are very, very satisfying to crumple up when you finish a task. You can move them around and they keep their charge - I rearrange mine into different columns most days and only one note has ever lost its cling. Plus because the corners don’t flutter (the whole note is charged, as opposed to the strip of adhesive you get on common sticky notes), my cat is much less likely to play with them or knock them down. They don’t leave behind any sticky residue and they never fall: I wrote a quote on one and stuck it on the wall next to my computer three weeks ago and it’s still there. The packaging promises they’ll cling to almost any surface - for my part, I’ve tried them on the walls of my humid basement flat, pages in notebooks, and window glass. These babies stick to anything, using static charge rather than adhesive. Peel it off the wall once and it never really gets its groove back.īut in early April, during my first government-sanctioned visit to my favourite stationery store in six months, I found something I always knew I needed but never knew existed: magnetic notes. And if I want to shuffle them around, like the aspiring novelist I am? I’m doomed. My sticky(ish) note mind maps just can’t seem to stay intact on the wall for more than a day. Humidity, the quality of paint on the wall, cheap adhesive, the heaviness of ink, the breeze, and the existence of cats are just some of sticky notes’ worst enemies. Even the top brands lose their stick quickly - sometimes in a matter of hours. The big problem - and the reason I keep cycling back to other methods like planners and apps - is that sticky notes rarely live up to their name very long. When I need to sort my life out, or plan an article, story, or big life event, I always feel better once I’ve stuck my thoughts all over the wall and taken them in. They let me step back and see the big picture and are great tools for colour coding ideas, tasks, and priorities. But sticky notes have always been my favourite method of organising my thoughts and tasks. Finding a way to organise my thoughts, to-do lists, and ideas has been a lifelong goal for me. I’ve tried it all: planners, bullet journals, spreadsheets, at least six different apps, the classic writing on the back of the hand. ![]() No one thought to ask how she had dealt with her own story. Each time we passed one of these little massage parlors, we would make note of the patrons entering and exiting and imagine their home lives, what they were feeling, what their partners must think, all those things. The concept of the happy ending became a running joke with us. My partner explained that happy endings at these types of massage parlors were actually real things. It is a somewhat balanced comparison, with Sunblaze falling a little shy of the lofty heights reached by the 2018 precision platformer. Sunblaze is inspired by Celeste, and as a fan, I saw the connection between the two instantly. If you’re not into difficult games, this might not be the title for you.
